BOTANIA is named after botany, the study of how living things grow. We see businesses in much the same way: as ecosystems made up of people, tools, information and processes that work together.
As that ecosystem grows, so do the connections between its parts. BOTANIA designs intelligent systems that organize those connections, automate repetitive work and keep information moving where it needs to go.
Why operations, automation and AI belong together
- Understanding the operationKnowing which steps carry real judgment, which exist only because nobody ever built a system for them, and what breaks if you remove the wrong one. This is the part that cannot be bought, and it is the part most automation work skips.
- Automation and integrationsOnce you know what should happen, automation and integrations are what make it happen reliably, in the tools the business already runs, without a person in the middle carrying information from one place to another.
- AIPlenty of operational work needs something read, understood, classified or written before it can move. That used to be the reason a step needed a person. Increasingly it is not, as long as somebody has thought carefully about where the judgment still belongs.
Any one of these on its own tends to disappoint: a strategy nobody implements, a set of disconnected automations, or an AI pilot that never reaches daily use.
Used together they produce something a business can actually run on.

For more than a decade, I worked in executive support and operations inside large global companies. Most recently, I worked in the Office of the President and CEO at Qualcomm, with earlier experience supporting teams and senior leaders at Google, Baker Tilly, BASF and KPMG.
That work gave me a close view of how businesses actually operate. Requests come in, information moves between people and systems, approvals are needed, priorities change, and someone has to keep everything moving. I became especially interested in the work that repeatedly depended on a person to move it forward.
At Google, I worked as a contractor leading remote teams across India, Portugal and California, including training and quality assurance. Working across three continents required clear processes, consistent standards and checks to make sure the work was being done correctly, without depending on everyone being in the same place.
That experience shapes how I build systems today. Automation should not remove judgment where judgment matters. The systems I design include the right checkpoints, approvals and human decisions from the beginning.
I founded BOTANIA to bring that approach to established businesses dealing with disconnected tools, manual processes and work that takes more coordination than it should.
